'Eco-town' plan given £9.5m boost
A so-called "eco-town" planned for a village near Norwich is to receive a£9.5m boost from the government.
The money will fund the first homes at the former airfield at Rackheath and improve transport links and facilities for bikes and electric cars.
It forms the first wave of funding from a total of £60m pledged to councils before April 2011.
Rackheath is one of four "eco-towns" in England which have received a share of £37.5m to pay for 600 "eco-homes".
