Very disappointing...went on 3rd Sept 09, first time since new owners took over. Probably won't be visiting again.
The "Medium steak" we ordered was burnt to a crisp...it was replaced (eventually) with a correctly done steak...but we did not get the replacement side orders we were promised (we had to stick with the original ones which were stone cold following the wait for the new steak).
We asked for mayonnaise to accompany the onion rings...we were given a squeezy bottle of mayo from LIDL of all places (LIDL???!!!...what no Hellmans??!!) and we had to ask for a dish so we could decant the mayo and actually dip the onion rings. Not the greatest complaint I accept, but I don't want to eat products from a discount store.
The waiting staff were not bothered about the problems with the food and did not offer us so much as a free drink to compensate for the fact that my boyfriend and I ate our (rather disappinting), meals at different times to each other.
I'm really sad to see that a place I had previously raved about & recommended to others, has clearly changed for the worse.

During the 11th century Norwich was the second largest city in England, after London, and one of the most important places in the kingdom...
